Welcome to Episode 8 of Transform Your Inner World: How to Renew Your Mind.

Last time, we concentrated on removing mental strongholds and uprooting the lies sown by the enemy. We investigated the possibility of replacing these lies with God's truths. Today, we'll delve deeper into the second section: creating a mental fortress of truth. This is essential for renewing our mind, which is necessary for rejecting the lies that obstruct God's plan and embracing a life of success. Let's look at how God's Word may strengthen your mind and bring about transformation.

Jesus prayed for us in John 17, stating, "Sanctify them through Your Truth." Your word is truth.” He stated here that the Bible is the greatest source of truth. While sermons are beneficial, personal daily devotion is essential. Reading, studying, meditating, and practicing the Word are essential for ingraining Truth in your mind. If you don't already do this, start now; it's never too late.

Why is this so important? Hosea 4:6 forewarns, "My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge." Ignorance of God's Word causes the deception of the enemy to take root. The absence of Truth exposes God's people to unnecessary pain, ranging from illnesses to broken relationships. To resist deception, your mind requires the knowledge of God, just as a healthy body requires nutrients.

Satan cannot dominate those who are rooted in God's truth. He may persecute, but he cannot affect their mind, heart, or soul. When believers forget God's Word, they fall prey to his lies, allowing him to steal, kill, and destroy.

Develop the habit of immersing yourself in God's Word. Psalm 1:1-3 depicts a blessed life lived in continual meditation on His Word. Joshua 1:8 emphasizes the importance of meditating day and night in order to achieve prosperity and success.

Furthermore, your words have creative power. According to Proverbs 18:21, "death and life are in the power of the tongue." Speaking God's promises brings vitality to your situation. Psalm 34:12-14 exhorts us to speak good, seek peace, and pursue it.

Reading, studying, reflecting on, practicing, and confessing God's Word align you with the life God designed for you. Jesus stated, "I am the Way, the Truth, and the Life." Recognizing that the Word, Jesus, and Truth are all one is critical.

It is simple to gather principles and understanding when delving into Scripture. All truths, however, must lead to a personal encounter with Jesus. Recognition of Christ is hampered by intellect alone, as demonstrated in the Pharisees. This is exemplified by Saul's change on the journey to Damascus. Prior of that, Saul of Tarsus was armed with a thorough Biblical knowledge. He persecuted the church with murderous zeal because he lacked a personal encounter with God. Later Saul, who changed his name to Paul, a born-again Christian, turned his world upside down by fusing God's Word with personal interactions with Christ.
